It was mentioned that they were classmate in interview. Actually, they met for the first time as junior and senior of same middle school. Betraying people’s expectation, Tsurutei is actually the older one. Leader status is given to Fine due his initiative in dancing (“To compensate the lack of physical exercise,” he said).

The two started dancing by covering Ochame Kinou in mid of 2010. Fine was seen dancing alone first, but a week later, he was seen dancing with Tsurutei in new video. After that, they continued dancing together as respected individuals. てぃ☆イン! label was not introduced until they covered Bad Apple!! with Santama Dancers.

Cat-ear accessories were worn as trademark for their original choreography. It is triggered by illustration of Nakimushi Pippo which features boy who has cat-like ears. Fine and Tsurutei pointed this out during opening of the dance ("Is it painful to wear cat ears?" "Wearing cat ears?" "Yes." "It grows, though"). The cat-ears are no longer present as てぃ☆イン! tried to change image.
