Goodbye

Ms. Despair
Today feels like an Idul Fitri day...
We packed lot of things for our convenient
Shook our hands and smiling warmly
Went traveling together in a rented car
Sang to the radio in highway
Ate a lot of snacks because we had nothing to do
Walked in crowded place till our legs felt stiff
Had lunch outside and got irked by pricey food.
You know what's so different?
We will not meet again until years pass by.

Hah. I made this seem more dramatic, didn't I?
It's nothing serious... XD
My Sis has to work in Padang
and my family escorts her to the airport.

That's all.

...
Honestly, I get very emotional in this matter.
I don't know what to feel though.
Nee, wagamama ii desu ka?

Let's see...
Basic thing is...
She's pretty annoying in busy day.
Yelling a lot, ordering me around, pointing old mistakes out, being grumpy to everyone home (and I'm always home). Monday to Sunday, Monday to Sunday. Days to week, weeks to month.

Well maybe it's because I shared bedroom, I felt that way.
Actually, she is not bad at all.
She's just reaaallly emotional and easy to get stressed out.
When long holiday comes she becomes so nice and friendly to the point you will forget she's usually THAT annoying.
Haha. She even bought me a pair of shoes before she went to Padang.
She even noticed my favorite color.
...
I feel like crying.

Few days ago,
when 'which branch she will work at' announced,
my father said she called home.
She was crying at that moment.
She said she will not work at Bandung or anywhere near.
...Not long after that she texted "I'm okay :)"

"Do you mind if I go with your sis?"
"Where?"
"Padang"
"No problem, Mom. How long?"
"Maybe... a year?"
I forced a smile.
I have something important too this year.

"Hey, Mom. What's dinner for today?"
"Nothing special"
"Hmm"
...My mother was cutting beans but her mind was somewhere else.
She is clearly worried.
"If you go this year, I have to learn how to cook then. ...Teach me?"
My mother smiled.

In midnight, I heard my sister discussing many things with my parents.
Campus, works, her friend circle, activities and many more...
My parents seemed so interested.
...
They never take me seriously.
...
I tried to sleep again but failed.

"Dad..."
My father kept watching tv.
"...will Mom go with Sis?"
He looked me in the eyes.
"No."
"Why?"
"Your sister won't allow it"
...

When my sister finished packing,
her boyfriend visited our home to say goodbye.
I met him briefly when I tried to find my socks.
Hah.
In spur of the moment, we exchanged smiles.
Mine was polite.
His was... sincere.
Most sincere smile I've seen for a while!
...Damn lucky girl.

"Hahaha, ababil!" (*emotionally unstable teenager)
"At least I AM still teenager!"
"Yeah, right..."
I turned my attention from my brother.
"Sis?"
"Nothing."
She hold my hand and then smiled at me.
"I'm not a teenager but still unstable."
Sis, you just cried.
